  7:00PM 8:00PM Prairie Skies   A live-narrated tour of the wonders of tonight's sky, accompanied by some of the legendary stories of the ancient sky. Find out what constellations and planets are visible tonight from your backyard. This show is updated seasonally and is intended for all ages. Our winter show gives way to spring on March 21. Tickets are $5 adults; $4 students, seniors, & kids, all sold at the door. Fridays through June 14 at the William M Staerkel Planetarium.
 
  6:00PM n/a Unity High School Mini Relay for Life   Join the fight against cancer at the 2014 MINI Relay May 9th at Unity High School. Cancer affects us all. If it’s someone in our family, one of our close friends, or one of our coworkers, we all know someone who has battled against cancer. Whether they have won the battle or not, come walk in support for those who have lost the fight to cancer and those who are still fighting. When we walk together, we are bigger than cancer.   7:30PM 8:30PM Emmanuel Episcopal Church: Concerto   Emmanuel Episcopal Church cordially invites you to attend a concert of choral, orchestral, and organ music on Friday, May 9th, 2014 at 7:30 p.m. Concerto in g minor for Organ, String Orchestra and Timpani by 20th century French composer Francis Poulenc. Following that will be the famous Mozart Serenade for Strings, "Eine Kleine Nachtmusik" by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Then the choir of Emmanuel and guest singers will perform the "Mass of St. John of God", by Franz Josef Haydn. Concluding will be a spirited chorale anthem by Mozart contemporary, Italian composer Antonio Salieri. Located at the corner of State St. & University Ave. in Champaign.
